Santander Consumer USA has revealed its Auction of the Year and also honored the top sites in individual categories and regions, as well.

Taking accolades as Auction of the Year was Brasher’s Salt Lake Auto Auction, which also won as the Best E-Commerce Auction and the top auction in the Central region.

Winning the award for Best Santander 7 Penetrations was Manheim Southern, while Best Operational Auction honors went to Manheim Kansas City.

Other regional winners were:

Midwest: ADESA Cincinnati/Dayton
Northeast: Manheim Baltimore-Washington
Southeast: Carolina Auto Auction
West Coast: ADESA Golden Gate

“The auction performances by these guys were impeccable,” said Santander’s Mitchel O’Neil, who also noted how proud the company is of all its auction partners and that “all of our auctions are winners,” explaining that the program was a way to recognize those that went above and beyond.

Golf Promotion Winners

Santander also held a national promotion during the fourth quarter for trips to the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am golf tournament in Pebble Beach, Calif.

The promotion took place throughout all of Santander’s active auctions, which also held separate golf-themed promotions of their own.

To determine the winners, the top five buyers from each auction were selected on the first business day of October, November and December. After those 15 winners from each auction were determined,  Santander had a random drawing for winners on Jan 6. Those winning the prize could either go on the trip or choose the prize equivalent.

The trip to Pebble Beach covered airfare, lodging and passes to the golf tournament, which was held last month.
