CarLotz said Thursday it has launched a “Driver’s Seat Advantage” program that includes a 12-month/12,000-mile warranty, low-price match and seven-day/400-mile return policy.

Getting into the program’s details, the low-price match means that if a consumer finds a comparable vehicle at a lower price within 100 miles of the hub where the car is up for sale, CarLotz will match the price.

The company said most vehicles come with the 12-month/12,000-mile limited warranty, and the return policy allows for the consumer bring the car back within seven days or 400 miles of the signed buyer’s order.

“Now more than ever, buying a car can be overwhelming,” CarLotz vice president of operations Liz Messick said in a news release.

“We are excited to introduce the Driver’s Seat Advantage Program as one more way CarLotz continues to lead the industry by keeping customer service at the forefront of our mission to create the world’s greatest vehicle buying and selling experience.”
