FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif. -

Genesis on Monday launched a new at-home car shopping service on Monday, stating that the national “white glove” program will provide customers their own personal concierge.

Throughout the process of shopping for and buying a new Genesis, that concierge will act as a host and guide.

Genesis said the launch of Genesis Concierge marks a major step forward in its delivery of an “unparalleled, bespoke guest experience for its customers.”

From participating Genesis retailers, Genesis Concierge services include the option of at-home test drives and delivery at a location of the customer’s choice.

The dedicated personal shopper will be involved in every touch point of a guest’s experience.

That involvement will take place from the initial welcome to setting up final retail vehicle delivery.

Genesis elaborated on how Genesis Concierge works, stating that the program works “hand-in-glove” with the brand’s digital portals. After a customer expresses interest, a concierge will contact the customer by phone call, text, e-mail, or whichever contact method the guest prefers.

The assistant at that point acts as a shopping guide. That involves answering questions about brand models and packages, explaining the complimentary services offered, and directly interfacing with the retailer.

Genesis stressed that the retailer remains integral through the process, noting that it designed the program to enhance the customer-retailer relationship.

The concierge, however, will continue serving as the primary contact for customer questions or concerns. Even after delivery of the vehicle, the assistant will follow up.

Genesis Motor North America president and chief executive officer Mark Del Rosso said a true luxury experience should go beyond a customer’s expectations.

“Genesis Concierge is a tailored service that delivers a new level of personalized luxury, because we are committed to delivering an experience that satisfies our customers on their terms, not ours,” Del Rosso said in a news release.

Del Rosso continued, “As with our popular Service Valet owner amenity, utilized by 90% of Genesis owners, Genesis Concierge shows we have great respect for our customers’ ultimate luxury — their time.”
