On the heels of introducing new car vending machines in both Orlando, Fla., and the Washington, D.C., area this month, Carvana has launched its largest car vending machine right at home in Tempe, Ariz. — not far from where the e-commerce platform for buying used cars was founded in Phoenix just six years ago.

The new facility made up of mostly glass can hold up to 34 vehicles and stands nine stories high, the company said Wednesday.

This is Carvana’s 12th vending machine.

“We’re incredibly proud to be a part of the metro Phoenix community,” Carvana founder and chief executive officer Ernie Garcia said in a news release. “Opening our largest Car Vending Machine to date in the city that shares our headquarters means so much to us.”

Located at 707 E. Gilbert Drive, this location is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. PT to 7 p.m. 

In addition to free vehicle pickup at any of Carvana’s Car Vending Machines, customers who don’t live in the outside of the Phoenix metro area can arrange to receive $200 in airfare from the company to pick up their vehicle at the vending machine, according to the company.

“We’re excited that our hometown and many of our employees can continue to enjoy the new way to buy a car, now with the unique vending machine experience we’re known for,” Garcia added.
