BOSTON -

Carvana announced Wednesday the launch of four New England markets in the cities of Boston; Worcester, Mass.; Manchester, N.H.; and Providence, R.I.

Consumers residing in the four New England markets can now shop Carvana’s more than 10,000 vehicles and schedule as-soon-as-next-day vehicle delivery.

“As we grow our presence in the Northeast, New England is critical to that expansion,” Carvana founder and chief executive officer Ernie Garcia said in a news release. “Boston is a quickly burgeoning tech player and we’re pleased we can bring a tech-forward car buying solution to the area.”

Carvana has delivered vehicles to customers in 48 states, and offers free, as-soon-as next-day delivery to residents in 61 markets.

The move to bulk up in the Northeast follows Carvana's westward expansion in March. It launched in Denver and San Diego last month.

Those moves were followed by growth in the Southeast. On March 29, it opened its second vending machine in Florida and eighth overall, with the debut of a facility in Tampa.

Carvana got the ball rolling this month with an April 4 launch in Lexington, Ky.
