BOCA RATON, Fla. –

Through a new integration between transportation provider ShipYourCarNow and online used-car auction E-DealerDirect, shipping services are now embedded within the E-DealerDirect site.

E-DealerDirect says it has a strong presence in the Southwest, with a focus on front-line units from various sellers.

The company provides an auction marketplace that it says helps buyers and sellers control the sale through preferences, proxy bidding and counter bidding features.

Automotive professionals with more than 60 years of combined industry experience founded E-DealerDirect in El Paso, Texas.

“It is an exciting opportunity for us to work with Auctions that have embraced the virtual nature of the changing wholesale marketplace like E-DealerDirect,” ShipYourCarNow founder and chief executive officer Gavin Kesten said in a news release.

He added, “It is estimated that 50% of all wholesale transactions are occurring on-line. This percentage will continue to grow and will typically require a shipping solution like ShipYourCarNow.”

E-DealerDirect president and co-founder Victor Valenzuela said his company wanted to grow its geographical footprint beyond its local region. The company also saw a high demand for the particular type and quality used car and truck it was presenting in its on-line auction platform.

“We just didn’t know how to overcome the transport barrier,” Valenzuela said.

He continued, “ShipYourCarNow provided a seamless easily integrated solution to answer that question.”
