WATERBURY, Vt. -

Known for leading analytics at Cox Automotive Media Solutions, James Grace recently left the parent company of Autotrader, Kelly Blue Book and Dealer.com to form a new digital marketing company that can connect businesses with people using detailed customer data profiles.

Grace introduced his company called Wizely on Tuesday at the CMO Digital Insight Summit in Sarasota, Fla.

“Someone once told me that wisdom is knowledge put into practice, and Wizely is being founded on that principle,” Grace said in a news release. “It’s one thing to know about the latest trends, buzzwords and technologies, but it’s another thing entirely to turn that knowledge into products and services that make an impact.”

Wizely specializes in providing businesses with strategic product planning along with what Grace calls “people-based” digital marketing.

While traditional marketing approaches target audience segments or device groups, the company said that its marketing techniques can target individual people.

Wizely offers digital marketing services designed to help clients use data and analytics to develop targeted marketing and advertising campaigns, the company said.

The company also explained how Wizely consulting services can help companies create product strategy, as well as integrate analytics into a client’s existing product and go-to-market strategies.

Moreover, the new company founder is a successful product innovator, who is responsible for patenting time-shift radio (“TiVo”) in vehicles for Cadillac, as well as developing the precursor to Apple’s “CarPlay” function for Chevrolet.

Grace joined the Dealer.com team in 2014, where he developed Dealer.com's big-data based nGauge & Attribution analytics products.

Prior to Dealer.com, Grace held positions at Panasonic Automotive Systems, TeleNav and General Motors.
