DETROIT -

motormindz has brought aboard Bruce Coventry to serve as new managing partner to head the company's automotive manufacturing and technology practice.      

Conventry is an industry leader with 40-plus years of auto tech experience, who has spent his career working in manufacturing, industrial engineering, purchasing and product design.

Conventry has previously held a variety of executive roles at General Motors, Ford Motor Co., Dresser Waukesha Engine and DaimlerChrysler AG (now Daimler AG).

“Bruce joining the team represents the final piece of the puzzle in building our global Automotive Manufacturing and Technology Practice,” motormindz founder and chief executive officer Jeff Van Dongen said in a news release. “Bruce has his thumb on the pulse and has unprecedented domain relative to the core challenges and opportunities our industry will be faced with over the next decade.

In his new role, Coventry joins three other motormindz managing partners John Felice, Jim O'Sullivan and Ray Fisher.
