Another consolidation arrived on Tuesday; this time involving firms creating software and technology aimed at helping dealerships retail vehicles when it’s convenient for potential buyers.

Shuffling Madness Ventures (SMV), the parent company of PIN Business Network (PIN) and KelCar Holdings, an automotive software company from Hagerstown, Md., announced that they have come together to form a new company called PIN Automotive.

According to a news release, PIN Automotive is launching a series of dealership software solutions that includes:

— A mobile app for consumers to buy a new or used vehicle from the comfort of their own home

— A desking tool to manage the business internally more effectively

— A CRM system that can scale the communication abilities with current store customers

“This is an exciting partnership that will allow us to participate in the evolution of the dealership consumer experience,” PIN Business Network chief executive officer Joe Oltmann said. “It is an exciting time as the expectations of consumers today is evolving, and the technology we have collectively will meet the needs and desires of the consumers head on.”

PIN Automotive will be showcasing a demo of all three products at the Digital Dealer Conference & Expo in Orlando, Fla., from April 6-8.

 “The Digital Dealer Conference is the ideal forum to showcase the power of PIN Automotive and the proven technologies and marketing horsepower we now have,” Kelcar Holdings president Eric Carper said.

“It is truly a game-changer and the app will be offered to branded dealers on an exclusive basis who will be invited to join the PIN Automotive Dealership Co-Operative,” Carper went on to say.
