Proactive Dealer Solutions announced Tuesday that upgraded online training videos have enhanced its BDC Central platform beyond the company’s recent application of artificial intelligence and other fresh features.

Proactive’s training videos for business development representatives (BDR) have been enhanced using data and analysis from thousands of business development centers (BDC), the company said. Its updated videos now include the latest technologies in interactive programming.

“We’ve been working on this upgrade for many months, and our beta testers have been instrumental in making it more user-friendly and useful for managers and BDRs,” Proactive founder and managing partner said Lawson Owen explained in a news release.

The company has its own videography studio, where it can edit existing training videos, create new ones and develop the interactive aspects of its training resources in-house.

“We have developed nearly 400 training videos which cover topics like call theory, scripting, objection handling and lead management,” Owen said. “With nearly 400 videos, our comprehensive library of interactive training provides the BDR with conceptual overviews of specific topics, and deep-dive, hands-on workshop training.”

In addition to lead tracking, recording and evaluating outbound calls and correspondence, the platform can also report missed opportunities in real-time and set goals.

“Our BDC Central platform is powerful,” Owen said. “It has come as a result of hard work, collecting terabytes of data and over decades analyzing this data to determine what works and what doesn’t. Each dealership has a success manager assigned to them, who regularly checks performance and passes along recommendations to the BDC manager. They can also respond with onsite visits for live training,” he continued.

Additionally, the platform features recording software that can “listen” to calls or “read” correspondence to evaluate conversations.

The platform has been used by more than 3,000 BDCs in North America, according to Proactive.
