SALT LAKE CITY -

Online reputation services provider Friendemic has integrated CARFAX reviews into its Reputation Accelerator product, and Friendemic says that with 19 million consumers visiting the CARFAX site monthly, the integration will “help bring a new level of awareness and engagement to dealership management.”

Friendemic provides online reputation services built specifically for the needs of the automotive industry. The company said that with the integration of CARFAX reviews, Friendemic users will have an easier time responding to positive and negative reviews from within the Reputation Accelerator dashboard and including these actions within their reports.

In providing social and reputation technology for car dealers, Friendemic brings together tools allowing dealers to monitor and grow online reviews. Also with the tools, dealers can collect and publish social media content and communicate to shoppers and owners using 1:1 video.

Friendemic says more than 60% of customers use dealership reviews to determine which dealership will they will choose. Because of that, Friendemic says its reputation tools help dealers solicit and respond to reviews. The tools can also bring additional shoppers into dealership doors, according to the company.

"We are very pleased that we can now view and respond to CARFAX reviews within the Friendemic Catalyst software that we use to manage our other online reviews and reputation management,” said Ed Borg, marketing manager, Hennessy Automobile Companies, in a news release.

Borg continued, “Friendemic’s new integration with CARFAX will now help our dealerships continue to manage our reputation with our online customer through yet another platform with their software.”

Friendemic president and chief product officer Jason Barber said CARFAX offers one of the fastest growing bases of sales and service reviews. Barber said because of that, CARFAX is “a trusted leader for shoppers looking to find their next vehicle.”

“We are excited to add CARFAX reviews to the growing arsenal of reputation tools we offer our dealer clients,” Barber said.
