MOORESVILLE, N.C. -

Along with the likes of Ally Financial, Autotrader and Kelley Blue Book, those in the used-car and remarketing industry who follow NASCAR should see another familiar name on the tracks this season: Dent Wizard.

The company, which provides vehicle conditioning services and protection products, has signed a multi-year partnership with Team Penske.

During this season of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, Dent Wizard will be the primary sponsor of Team Penske’s No. 12 Ford Mustang driven by Ryan Blaney for these races:

  • Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway on Aug. 17
  • 1000Bulbs.com 500 at Talladega Superspeedway on Oct. 13.

“Dent Wizard has established itself as an industry leader and we welcome them as our newest partner at Team Penske,” Roger Penske said in a news release.

“We have enjoyed new opportunities with some new partners since our NASCAR Cup Series program expanded to three full-time entries last season with Ryan (Blaney) joining Brad (Keselowski) and Joey (Logano). We are excited to work with Dent Wizard to help build the company’s brand and showcase its services,” Penske said.

Dent Wizard plans on utilizing the partnership for potential and current customer engagement via the motorsports program of Team Penske.

Dent Wizard president and chief executive officer Mike Black said in a news release: “We are excited about the Team Penske partnership. At Dent Wizard, our team of 3,000-plus associates pride ourselves on exemplifying our core values of integrity, innovation, customer devotion and excellence.

“Having spent the last 35 years in the reconditioning industry, we have learned to value great partnerships that create a win-win for both parties.  Dent Wizard is happy to continue building our business and brand within the automotive space.”

Blaney added: “It’s great to build a new relationship with Dent Wizard and have them as part of the No. 12 Mustang team. I hope to bring their brand a ton of new exposure at two great tracks later this year and into the future.”

Regarding the industry names referenced above, Autotrader and Team Penske are in their sixth season of partnership. Autotrader sponsors Logano and Keselowski.

Its Cox Automotive sister company Kelley Blue Book is currently in the middle of a deal with Hendrick Motorsports that runs through 2020, where KBB is a two-race primary sponsor of Chase Elliott and the No. 9 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 team. KBB is a full-season associate sponsor.

Late last year, Ally Financial announced it had jumped into NASCAR, partnering with Hendrick Motorsports and linking up with one of the sport’s most recognizable and successful figures. Ally signed on to be the primary sponsor of Jimmie Johnson’s No. 48 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 team for the entire 2019 and 2020 seasons.
