PHOENIX -

Through a partnership with Manheim Digital, Carvana has launched an online wholesale platform, CarvanaACCESS, that allows dealers to buy wholesale vehicles directly from the company.

Carvana locations process consumer trade-ins and other wholesale units, which then go into a timed-bid auction on CarvanaACCESS.com.

Cars in that auction, which is powered by the Manheim Digital partnership, have condition reports and 360-degree photos, and are priced to sell, the company said.

Registered dealers and other wholesale buyers can tap into the CarvanaACCESS auction portion and have first dibs on Carvana’s wholesale inventory.

“Wholesale has been an important part of our business from the beginning, and much like consumer interest in The New Way to Buy a Car has quickly grown over time, so has interest in what we offer to industry customers with our wholesale inventory,” Scott Wood, Carvana’s senior director of wholesale operations, said in a news release.

“This direct purchase platform unlocks the full potential of Carvana’s capabilities matched with technology modules from Manheim Digital, creating a whole new way to buy wholesale, directly from Carvana,” he said. “We look forward to working with even more wholesale customers to provide them with our incredibly diverse inventory and national network.”

Previews begin at noon (ET) on Thursdays and run through 9 am on Fridays. The sales run from 9 am (ET) Fridays to 4 pm Mondays.

Dealers and other wholesale buyers can register for the site at CarvanaACCESS.com.
