CARY, N.C. -

Dealers buying on TradeRev from sellers in certain states can now make the most of free vehicle transportation, the company announced Thursday.

TradeRev and fellow  KAR Auction Services business unit CarsArrive Network have teamed up to run a cross-country promotion that gives buyers from sellers in qualifying states free TradeRev vehicle transportation.

In a part of the program that started July 1, dealers buying from sellers in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania can take advantage of the aforementioned promotion until Sept. 30,

Meanwhile, in a piece of the promotion that started Thursday, dealers buying from sellers in qualifying Western states can get free vehicle transportation up to  Dec. 31.

The new promotion's qualifying Western states include Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.

“TradeRev is committed to making the buying and selling of automotive inventory as fast, fair and easy as possible for dealers,” Becca Polak, president of TradeRev and chief legal officer for KAR, said in a news release.“Dealers want seamless purchasing options at a value.

“By tapping into KAR’s resources, this partnership with CarsArrive helps sellers reach a broader group of buyers and helps buyers expand their purchasing market area far beyond local at no additional cost,” Polak said.

IAA opens relocated Kansas branch

Meanwhile, in other news from KAR,, Insurance Auto Auctions has opened a newly relocated Wichita, Kan., branch.

Along with larger vehicle drop zones and an enhanced inspection center, IAA said that its new Wichita facility is fitted with advanced security camera technology and offers clients twice the storage space of its previous location.

“We consistently want to provide our customers with the best experience, whether buying or selling vehicles with IAA,” company chief executive officer and president John Kett said in a news release. “Improvement of our Wichita facility provides increased inventory space, improved bidding and buying experiences and greater efficiency for inspecting vehicles — creating better auction interactions for our customers.”

Furthermore, the company said that the inventory space at the new facility provides a more efficient vehicle review process setting for insurance adjusters.
