TradeRev is bringing back its Move Metal transport guarantee, which guarantees dealers that all vehicles purchased with transport in the app within 300 miles of their lot will arrive within three business days or fewer. If not, the delivery charge is free.

TradeRev is a digital marketplace platform of KAR Global, and the company said it aims to offer “the fastest payment-to-delivery time in the entire country.”

With that commitment, according to TradeRev, dealers can be confident that their purchases will arrive faster and retail-ready for sale.

TradeRev first launched the Move Metal transport guarantee in the United States in February. Because of COVID-related interstate commerce restrictions and stay-at-home orders, the company temporarily paused the program. TradeRev relaunched the program on Oct. 9 and says adoption of its digital platform is at an all-time high and transportation across state-lines has “skyrocketed.”

To the Move Metal guarantee, the company is also adding its 2020 flat-fee shipping program, which is available to all U.S.-based dealers. According to TradeRev, the program offers a substantial discount that it says is “well below retail vehicle delivery pricing.”

According to TradeRev, from zero to 500 miles, its flat transport rates provide more control and transparency. The company says that means dealers see up-front pricing details before a bid is placed.

CarsArrive Network, a provider of automated vehicle shipping services and also part of KAR, is providing the flat-fee transportation program.

TradeRev co-founder and president Mark Endras said the company seeks to provide a convenient experience for dealers in the areas of searching, bidding, buying, payment and shipping.

“Time is money for dealers, and they want speed and predictability while moving fresh inventory to their lots,” Endras said in a news release.

Endras continued, “We’re the first and only auction, in-lane or online, to offer dealers a money-back transport guarantee, earning trust from dealers to deliver dependable inventory fast and on time.”

He added that dealers are broadening their inventory searches across a wider variety of geographies. Because of that, he said, fast and reliable transportation services are important in turning vehicles and making a profit.
