RockED’s drive to educate the automotive industry continues.
The mobile-first training platform announced a new partnership with the North American Council of Automotive Teachers to provide automotive educators and their students with expanded access to training designed to develop career-ready technicians.
In a news release, RockED said the collaboration provides “engaging, accessible training” that includes both technical knowledge and essential professional skills to prepare students for real-world success in the shop.
RockED’s Tech School Preview Plan is available to automotive programs at no cost, the company said, providing unlimited access for instructors and students to a mobile-first, microlearning platform that includes seven hours of content in 200 lessons and offers industry-recognized certifications.
“This partnership is about giving automotive educators practical tools they can use immediately to better support their students,” NACAT business manager Heather Sebben said. “Educators are working hard to keep up with industry changes while also keeping students engaged. RockED provides a modern, flexible way to bring real-world learning into the classroom and help students succeed beyond graduation.”
Training content covers topics such as technician onboarding, shop culture, communication between technicians and service advisors, electric vehicle features and emerging technologies, and strategies for building a winning mindset and professional habits.

Programs also include specialized training such as video inspections, endorsed by TruVideo, to help students build trust with customers.
In addition to the free preview access, NACAT members who choose to expand their program offerings can receive 50% off RockED’s full subscription in 2026. The full program includes more than 16 hours of content, 400-plus microlearning lessons, advanced technical training, ASE test preparation and multiple certification pathways aligned with industry needs.
“We created RockED to bridge the gap between education and the realities of today’s automotive workplace,” co-founder and CEO Matthias Stoever said. “By partnering with NACAT, we’re able to support the educators shaping the next generation of technicians with training that is engaging, relevant and immediately applicable.”
Educators can download the RockED app on iOS or Android, create an account and select their tech school or program to begin accessing content.
NACAT said the partnership reinforces its ongoing commitment to supporting automotive educators through innovative resources, professional development opportunities and stronger connections with the industry.
