NEW YORK –

Thanks to a deal with Sirius XM Radio announced Thursday, Nissan and Infiniti dealers now have another selling point at their disposal to move pre-owned units on their lots.

The dealers can now offer a three-month subscription to Sirius XM to customers who buy any used vehicle (regardless of  manufacturer) that has factory-installed Sirius or XM Radio.

“We are thrilled Nissan and Infiniti dealers are joining the growing list of participating dealerships across the country giving their pre-owned vehicle customers a three-month introductory subscription to SiriusXM," said Joe Verbrugge, senior vice president and general manager of Sirius XM’s automotive remarketing division.

“Customers buying any pre-owned satellite radio-equipped vehicle from Nissan and Infiniti dealerships can be assured they are receiving the best in-vehicle experience on the road,” he continued.

Offering some dealer input, Ken Schatzberg, operating partner of Infiniti of Scottsdale, noted: “I am a firm believer in the SiriusXM Pre-Owned Vehicle Program and when we were presented with the opportunity, we immediately enrolled in the program.

“We are now able to demonstrate SiriusXM and provide a three-month subscription to our customers on any pre-owned satellite radio-equipped vehicle in inventory, making our vehicles come alive with the latest in-vehicle entertainment and providing an added value to my customers,” Schatzberg added.
