Revenues up 7% at Mobility Global, parent to Carfax, Market Scan & others

Mobility Global Inc., which launched as an independent public company on July 1, has released its financial results for the second quarter ending June 30.
The company — whose core brands include IHS Markit, Polk, automotiveMastermind, Market Scan and Carfax — pulled in revenues of $468 million in the second quarter, a 7% year-over-year increase.
Subscription revenues were up 7% at $383 million, non-subscription revenues climbed 5% at $85 million.
The Carfax segment of the business saw revenue climb 8% at $312 million. The company’s B2B segment revenue was up 4% at $156 million.
Net income was $53 million, down 18% year-over-year, with net income margins down 27% at 11%.
“Mobility Global delivered second quarter results that reflected continued progress across our businesses during the final stages of our spin-off, and successfully launched as an independent public company on July 1,” Mobility Global CEO Bill Eager said in a news release. “We are moving with speed and focus to create One Mobility Global, deploy AI to fundamentally transform our workflows, and strengthen our market position.
