LAS VEGAS -

Along with a new class of Women in Remarketing being honored, today’s agenda is packed full, with the day kicking off with a Keynote Address featuring a diverse panel, including the perspective of dealers, automakers and lenders on the state of the used-car industry.

This panel includes Jennifer Costabile, of GM Fleet and Commerical Operations; Deborah Malinowski, of Santander; Tyler Corder, of Findlay Automotive; Randy Beil, of Chase; and Tammy Darvish, of DARCARS Automotive Group.

Next up, the event will touch on technology and new ideas in the iRemarketing 2011 session.

And after a proceeding panel featuring CPO executives, the incoming class of Women in Remarketing will take to the stage to accept their awards.

Later in the day will be a session that highlights creative, successful techniques and strategies to source pre-owned inventory in a crazy market. It will feature Ed Curry, of Asbury Automotive; Danny Papakalos, of AutoNation; and Ed French, of Community Auto Group.

Attendees will get a chance to hear from top remarketing executives with Enterprise, Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Avis Budget Group and Hertz in the second to last session of the day.

And the final panel of the day will feature Steve Kapusta, of Ally SmartAuction; Bob Rauschenberg, of ADESA; Peter Kelly, of OPENLANE; Pierre Pons, of ServNet; Kristie Griffin, of Greater Milwaukee Auto Auction; Nick Peluso, of Manheim; Dave Blake, of Auto Auction of New England; and Mike Hockett, of ABC.

These executives will discuss the hard lessons learned in 2011, new ideas for 2012 and beyond.
