Russ Darrow Group Gains New President, COO

The Russ Darrow Group has a new president and chief operating officer, the company announced Monday. Appointed to the post is Mike Darrow, currently executive vice president.
“Under Mike’s leadership as president, our employees and customers are assured of the stability, direction and transition of our company into the future,” stated Russ Darrow, chairman and chief executive officer of the Wisconsin-based auto retailer.
In the new role, Mike Darrow will head up management for all new-vehicle dealerships in the group, which includes 23 franchises in 13 locations. Additionally, he will oversee Russ Darrow Leasing Co., Inc., and J.D. Byrider/CNAC.
“I am currently involved in the operations of all of our divisions and will continue with an active role and oversight. However, the most important components of the success and future growth of the Russ Darrow Group are our dedicated employees and loyal customers. Our 46-year company motto is ‘Be the Best in Sales, Service and Personnel,’” Mike Darrow shared. “We also take pride in supporting the communities where we do business.”
Sharing some details on the background of the new president and COO, officials noted that Darrow is both a National Auto Dealers Association and the American International Automobile Dealers Association member.
Darrow has been both a board member and executive committee member of the Wisconsin Auto and Truck Dealers Association. His experience also includes serving as director and past chairman of the Auto Dealers Association of Mega Milwaukee, among other posts.
