OCALA, Fla. –
Auto Remarketing has learned that the owners of ADE Auctions Inc. recently bought an auction property in Ocala, Fla., marking the company’s third facility in the Sunshine State.
Today, Michael Tumminello and Jeff Brody announced the acquisition of the facility formerly known as Big Sun Auction; the property has been renamed Ocala Auto Dealers Exchange, located at 1205 Northwest 27th Ave.
This deal marks the third auction in the group owned by the Tumminello/Brody team, which also includes Sanford Auto Dealers Exchange and Cocoa Auto Dealers Exchange, officials noted.
“We are very pleased to add OADE to our family of auctions in Central Florida,” said Tumminello.
“We are fortunate to have developed a solid reputation in this region for service and dedication to our customers, and we believe that those values will quickly differentiate OADE from the competition. Our auctions are among the fastest growing in the Southeast, and we look forward to being a positive force in the Ocala market,” he continued.
Highlighting who will run the new auction, the owners noted that Richard Galway will oversee operations and administration at OADE as the auction’s general manager.

Galway was most recently the assistant general manager at SADE; he has been a member of the auction team at SADE since 1996.
And the auction’s first sale as OADA held last month touted more than 400 vehicles from new-car dealers crossing the block.
“Customers were treated to free food in the lanes, free hats and a number of prize giveaways,” officials added.
The auction will hold weekly sales on Wednesday afternoons at 5 p.m. on four auction lanes.
