Honda Canada Recalls Certain S2000 & Acura RSX Models

MARKHAM, Ontario –
Honda Canada recently revealed a recall that deals with certain 2006–2007 Honda S2000 and 2006 Acura RSX models.
Vehicles included in the action are 130 S2000 vehicles and 649 RSX vehicles from the aforementioned years.
This recall will be to inspect and, if necessary, replace the brake booster in these vehicles.
The company explained that that a production error may have “allowed brake booster components to be produced outside of the original specifications, potentially causing decreased brake assistance over time.”
That said, no crashes or injuries have been reported related to this issue. The need for the recall was discovered through warranty repairs in Japan.
Honda is encouraging owners of all affected vehicles to take their vehicles to an authorized dealer as soon as they receive notification of this recall from Honda Canada.
