RICHMOND, Va. –
CarLotz is going Mobile.
Alabama, that is.
The consignment-to-retail used-car marketplace is opening its first-ever hub in the state on Monday. In addition to this facility — located at 3016 Government Blvd. in Mobile — CarLotz plans on opening a second Alabama hub this month in Huntsville.
“Our continued expansion in the Southeast and entry into Alabama is another step towards achieving our mission to create the world's greatest vehicle buying and selling experience,” CarLotz co-founder and chief executive officer Michael Bor said in a news release.
“Between Mobile and our upcoming opening in Huntsville, we are doubling down in Alabama and look forward to introducing buyers and sellers to our consignment model, our diverse range of used vehicles and our omni-channel approach,” Bor said.
CarLotz’s omnichannel services are provided in Alabama, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Missouri, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Washington State. They will soon be available in Nevada.
