Flexcar is doing its part to save its customers money on gas.

The provider of month-to-month flexible car leases announced the launch of its Flexcar Gas Saver program in partnership with Sunoco, offering drivers in New England $0.30 off per gallon at participating Sunoco locations, and a $0.20 per gallon discount for customers in southern markets.

“Flexcar is all about making car ownership more affordable and flexible,” vice president of marketing Jake Marston said. “With the launch of Flexcar Gas Saver and our partnership with Sunoco, we’re proud to offer our members one of the best gas savings programs on the market — helping them save significantly every year.”

Following an initial rollout in December, all Flexcar members are automatically enrolled in the Gas Saver program in 2025. All members need to do to receive the discount is fill up their car at a participating Sunoco station. Once the transaction is completed, they will receive a text message confirming the location of the fillup and the amount to be credited back on their next monthly bill.

Flexcar said its members pay zero down payment, with one monthly payment that includes insurance, maintenance, 24/7 roadside assistance, monthly car washes and more.

The company’s 2024 survey of more than 600 customers showed affordability as the top reason drivers have chosen Flexcar over buying or traditional leasing. The company said its members have driven more than 150 million miles in Flexcars.
