Affinitiv and Dominion DMS both announced leadership changes on Tuesday, and each move involved Sharon Kitzman.

According to separate news releases from the companies, Kitzman is now chief executive officer of Affinitiv, which is a leading provider of intelligence-driven software and lifecycle marketing solutions for OEMs, dealers, and automotive groups.

And taking Kitzman’s place at Dominion DMS as president is industry veteran Cliff Lavergne.

Kitzman joined Dominion DMS in 2019, guided the business through a period of significant change, which included:

—Overseeing the sunsetting of ACCESS
—Launching VUE DMS
—Steering the company through the pandemic and industry-wide inventory and supply challenges

“Her leadership and commitment leave a strong foundation for the company’s future,” Dominion DMS said in its news release.

Lavergne, who most recently served as vice president of operations, has been with Dominion DMS since 2020. The company said he has played a critical role in advancing strategic initiatives and strengthening dealer success across the organization.

Prior to Dominion, Lavergne held several leadership roles in the DMS space, “bringing deep industry knowledge and a proven record of execution.”

Meanwhile that next chapter for Kitzman, effective immediately, is succeeding interim Affinitiv CEO Steve Stubitz, who will remain chairman of the board.

Before serving as president of Dominion DMS, Kitzman was president of Infomedia Americas, working with OEMs.
