Zapmoto said Monday it has hired former AutoNation, CarMax and Spiffy executive Troy Blackwell as chief revenue officer.
In this role, Blackwell will head up revenue strategy and partnerships as Zapmoto — which provides valet pickup and delivery of vehicles for servicing at dealerships — scales its business across the country.
“Fixed ops win when convenience, execution, and profitability align, Zapmoto’s current and future offerings give dealers a platform to grow service revenue while delivering the experience today’s customers expect,” Blackwell said in a news release.
Zapmoto founder and CEO Clint Curtis added: “Dealers are looking for fixed-ops solutions that produce real ROI, not point tools. Troy understands dealership economics and how to build software and operations engines that generate dealership ROI.”
