Team Velocity is launching a new Apollo.

The automotive digital retailing and integrated technology company announced a “major upgrade” to its Apollo AssistantAI, a move the company said strengthens its Apollo integrated digital retailing and website performance platform to help dealerships convert more website traffic into real sales and service opportunities.

The upgraded AssistantAI, embedded directly into Apollo sites, is designed to replace chat tools and lead forms with an artificial intelligence-powered conversational interface that lets shoppers complete actions in real time using natural language and voice commands.

All customer interactions are captured and synced into the Apollo Command Center, Team Velocity said, providing full visibility into the customer journey and improving attribution in sales and service.

The company said AssistantAI’s early results show up to a 30% increase in sales and service leads, with some stores reporting double the lead volume and engagement increasing from 12 to 27 interactions per visit.

“This upgrade represents a meaningful shift in how dealership websites perform,” Team Velocity co-founder and CEO David Boice said. “Instead of slowing customers down with disconnected chat tools or forms, AssistantAI helps them move forward instantly.

“It transforms the dealership website into an always-on digital assistant that drives measurable growth and reflects where automotive retail is headed.”

AssistantAI is designed to guide shoppers through real dealership workflows in-session, including service scheduling, trade valuation, financing support, inventory search and access to OEM and dealer offers.

As part of the Apollo platform, it’s connected to all of Apollo’s integration partners. AssistantAI is powered by Google Gemini AI, which Team Velocity said eliminates third-party widgets and redirects, and improves site speed, Core Web Vitals, analytics visibility and search engine optimization.

“Because AssistantAI is built natively into Apollo, dealers gain performance, attribution, automation and precision at the same time,” chief product officer Joe High said. “We’re eliminating third-party friction and enabling real workflows to happen in-session, without sacrificing site speed, data quality or user experience.”

The company said the upgraded Apollo AssistantAI is now available to dealerships nationwide.
