As dealers prepare for what many hope will be a busy Labor Day weekend on the lots, stores are ramping up holiday sales left and right. And for two Las Vegas dealerships, their staff is taking a bit of an unconventional approach.

Two Chapman Las Vegas dealerships are partnering for what they are calling a Silent Sunday Sales Event this weekend in an effort to give their customers a chance to shop around “without having to haggle or deal with a pushy sales person,” the stores explained.  

During this weekend event, unsolicited consumers will be able to browse unlocked new and used vehicles all Sunday. The prices are marked on tags inside the cars, the stores explained, and shoppers can grab the tag off the vehicle they want and bring it in on Labor Day Monday to get the price listed on the tag.

And the companies contend these tags “will have the lowest prices offered yet this year on thousands of Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep and Ram vehicles.”

“Customers can get a great deal and be in and out of the dealership in under an hour on Monday. The Silent Sunday Event is only one day at Chapman Las Vegas dealerships, so don’t miss out on these great prices in a pressure-free environment,” officials further stressed.

The dealerships also offered a few examples of deals consumers may find this coming Sunday.

For pre-owned sales, used vehicles will start at $3,599, officials shared.  Specifically, a certified pre-owned 2011 Jeep Patriot can be found for $18,999, and a Hemi-powered 2007 Dodge Durango SLT will be marked down to $16,566, the dealerships explained, giving a preview of some of the deals shoppers will find.

As for new units, the stores will be offering the 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 Tradesman starting at $16,999.

Furthermore, a 2012 Chrysler 200 LX will be discounted down to $17,999, and Jeep prices are lowered too; a 2012 Jeep Wrangler 4WD starts at $21,999 and a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4WD starts at $29,999.

The stores are also offering special financing rates for the holiday weekend. Furthermore, Chapman’s in-house financing program is offering special rates to customers who earn at least $350 per week.
