PORTLAND, Ore. -

Brasher’s Portland Auto Auction recently commemorated 62 years of Brasher’s by hosting a special anniversary event that included a sale featuring a consignment of 1,000 vehicles, a salmon and steak dinner and bidding for prizes and excursions.

“It was an exciting event for all of us,” stated Rob Wassom, sales manager at Brasher’s Portland Auto Auction. "Both consigned and sold numbers were up for this sale, with consignment topping 1,000 and a selling percentage just shy of 60 percent for the week.

“It’s a great thing to be able to celebrate 62 years in business in this industry, and our staff and our customers took part in congratulating the Brasher family by participating in one of the most high-energy sales of the season,” he added.

Consignors included: Zipcar Inc., Reliable Credit, Wells Fargo Dealer Services, OnPoint Community CU and Enterprise RAC, as well as Toyota of Tri Cities and Vancouver Toyota.

Each lane had special promotions during the sale. After the sale, dealers now can put their rewards points to bid on the various prizes and excursions up for grabs, which include various concert packages, sporting event packages and ski packages.
