Carolina AA Prepares Dealers for Tax-Return Influx

ANDERSON, S.C. -
With tax season already begun, Carolina Auto Auction is hosting a sale next month that it believes will help dealers get the necessary inventory to meet the potential spike in retail demand once consumers start getting their tax returns back.
The Tax-Time Sale will be held on Feb. 9, and is scheduled to include consignment from Santander, RSA, Wheels, Donlen and ARI, among others. Moreover, there will also be dealer-consigned vehicles.
Included in the consignment are more than 125 vehicles slated for Special Sale runs, officials indicated.
“With selection like this, dealers are sure to find the inventory they need to stock up in time for those customers coming with tax refunds in hand,” officials noted.
There will also be cash and prize drawings. Anyone who bought or sold a vehicle this Wednesday, or between now and Feb. 9, will be entered to win the $10,000 cash prize and other prizes, as well. These prizes include a tow dolly, hydraulic jacks, and Craftsman chest and tools, among other offerings.
“It’s like the tagline for this sale states,” shared auction co-owner Henry Stanley. “Carolina Auto Auction is invested in the success of its dealers. Times have changed, but that has not."
In another promotion, between January and March, dealers buying Santander units can “roll the dice” in hopes of winning $700. This will take place on the 4th of each month.
Moreover, each time they buy a unit from BB&T, buyers can attempt to figure out the BB&T “safe code.” The potential cash prize there is from $500 to $1,000.
