DAA of Idaho Set to Host Annual Fight Sale

Dealers will be treated to more than just the hundreds of vehicles up for grabs at a Dealers Auto Auction of Idaho sale later this month.
For its annual mixed martial arts fight sale — which is being held Aug. 16–17 — the auction will set up the mixed martial arts octagon cage on its lot and hold a tournament with the winner earning a professional fighting contract from the World Championship Full Contact organization, explained business development manager Britney Smith.
“Rage in the Cage 4, Tournament of Champions” will be held on the night of Aug. 16 at 7 p.m. following a catered dinner with Mexican food from a local restaurant at 6. The actual vehicle sale will be at 9:30 a.m. the next day.
“This year we are trying something a little different, and it is the first time it has been done in Idaho. We are having a tournament-style (event) instead of just normal three-round fights,” Smith said.
“We are having eight guys fight one round, and the winner of the one round will move on to the next round, take a break while we have a couple normal three round fights, then go to the second round where the winners will move on the championship round,” she continued. “The tournament champion will receive a WCFC professional fighting contract. Everyone is very excited!”
The fight night will also include prize drawings. The event is for customers and their families only and will not be open to the public, Smith noted.
As far as the actual sale, there will be about 800 units offered, with the consignor list including:

Tom Scott Motors
Dan Wiebold
