INDIANAPOLIS — eFleetDirect has struck a deal with the ZOOMWAREHOUSE online auction that gives dealers yet another avenue for finding and buying vehicles to stock in their inventories.

The company contends this process is different than traditional physical or online auctions, "which represent both the buyer and seller."

Essentially, eFleetDirect says it is the "seller" and there is no "middleman," as it controls the sales process.

eFleetDirect explained that it recently added remarketing programs for banks and other financial institutions into its operations.

The company indicated ZOOMWAREHOUSE offers an easy way for them to sell fleet, lease and repossession units, including cars and the occasional motorcycles, recreation vehicles and power sports vehicles.

"We are offering a simple, friction-free way for auto retailers to buy the inventory they need at very attractive price points," explained David Borshoff, vice president of business operations and development.

"Currently, dealers can register for free and do not pay a ‘buy fee,'" he added. "In today's tight market dealers need every available channel to find quality vehicles. ZOOMWAREHOUSE is one more source dealers can leverage."

Continuing on, the inspection process is controlled by eFleetDirect, which can offer buyers comprehensive evaluations.

Report details can be reviewed by the buyer, who can also check for any flaws. On average, there are 45 photos available with each vehicle, as well.

"Additionally auto retailers are able to use the ZOOMWAREHOUSE website as a 'virtual inventory showroom' and 'sell a customer' before they actually acquire the vehicle," officials noted.

Buyers can either choose to start bidding with the floor price or go with the "Buy It Now" option, which lets them buy a unit quickly if they need it for their lot.

And there is a concierge service provided for dealers who are looking a specific vehicle, allowing them to find a fleet unit expected to come in soon.

Finally, officials noted that dealers can check out ZOOMWAREHOUSE's inventory, but they must register to bid or see the prices.
