Grand Rapids AA Joins AuctionPipeline
SPOKANE, Wash. — Grand Rapids Auto Auction announced it has joined AuctionPipeline.com and will hold its first sale as a member on Tuesday, Aug. 3.
The sale will feature AmeriCredit, Santander Consumer, Wheels, Regional Acceptance, ARI, Auto Trakk, Harris Bank and Fifth-Third Bank.
"AuctionPipeline has clearly established itself as the national's leading online marketplace for independent auctions," explained Mark Capel, president of Grand Rapids AA. "We're looking forward to putting our weight behind the network and also leveraging the substantial dealer community that AuctionPipeline has created."
Scott Finkle, AuctionPipeline president, added, "AuctionPipeline is excited to add Grand Rapids Auto Auction to what is already a strong Midwest regional market. Grand Rapids will add a much needed boost of excellent inventory for buyers."
Grand Rapids AA will initially equip four of its lanes with simulcast technology provided by Xcira, and eventually all five lanes will be covered, according to Capel.
Grand Rapids is also a member of AuctionAccess.
As for AuctionPipeline, it already has more than 40 members representing all geographic regions of the country. AuctionPipeline provides live bidding and market reports featuring the combined inventories of some of the nation's leading independent auto, motorsports and RV auctions.
"More vehicles at independent auctions are listed and sold on AuctionPipeline than any other platform," Finkle highlighted. "Grand Rapids Auto Auction has an outstanding reputation within its own region, being a member of the Pipeline gives them an opportunity to expand their reach and their sales even further."
