Wholesale automotive marketplace IAA has entered into a strategic market alliance with Lion Trans & WHSE LLC in the Eastern European nation of Georgia, IAA’s parent company RB Global announced.

In a news release RB Global said the goal of the collaborative relationship is to increase market share of both companies in Georgia, as well as increasing global company awareness, broadening the visibility of vehicles, improving sales and expanding the customer base into diverse markets.

“We are excited to increase IAA’s presence in Eastern Europe and continue to broaden our international customer base,” IAA vice president of marketplace demand Meggan O’Malley said. “Lion Trans has held a leading market position for 15 years and we are eager to help meet the needs of B2B and B2C customers in this region.

“The new market alliance with Lion Trans will help IAA continue to expand our market alliance network to reach new buyers throughout the world.”

Lion Trans president Rati Lomia he looks forward to working with IAA to help customers navigate the process of buying and importing U.S. vehicles to Georgia.
