MAHWAH, N.J. -

Jaguar North America has named a new brand vice president. Taking on this post is David Pryor, effective April 18.

Pryor will report to Gary Temple, president of Jaguar Land Rover North America, and will be responsible for marketing communications and product planning for Jaguar in the United States.

Pryor comes from a rich background in the automotive industry, serving most recently as vice president and CMO for Porsche Cars North America.

"David Pryor is major new addition to the Jaguar leadership team in North America," said Temple. "He brings with him extensive automotive marketing experience and has a successful track record in the premium automotive industry."

Before joining Jaguar Land Rover North America, Pryor held several positions at Porsche North America, including responsibility for product planning and market research prior to being appointed to his most recent position as vice president and CMO.
