Manheim’s Savage to Present Seminars at Upcoming NADA Convention
ATLANTA — Manheim revealed details about its training sessions planned at the National Automobile Dealers Association Convention & Expo later this month.
Several sessions titled "Secrets of the Modern Wholesale Auction" are scheduled to be under the direction of Amanda Savage, customer relations director of Manheim Online Solutions. Savage's presentations are billed under NADA's "Vehicle Sales — Performance and Profitability" workshop track.
Manhiem officials explained that Savage will share how dealers can earn customers' trust. She also will offer tips designed to help dealers understand how a mix of in-lane and online resources can help to maximize profits.
Furthermore, Savage plans to draw on her industry experience that includes a combination of dealership and remarketing background. Some of the other specific topics Savage will touch on are:
—The value of accurate condition reports.
—Best practices for vehicle listings that sell.
—The key benefits of online wholesaling.
—Details about online tools like Manheim Simulcast, and how they can effectively dovetail with existing in-lane programs.
Savage's sessions are scheduled for Feb. 12 from 1:30 to 2:45 p.m.; Feb. 13 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.; and Feb. 14 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
DiAngelo Brooks, used-car director for the Duncan Automotive Group, vouched for Savage's knowledge and experience.
"Amanda's thorough understanding of remarketing from the dealer's perspective has allowed her to effectively advise me on which tools, both in-lane and online, work best to help me increase my bottom line," Brooks stressed.
"Given the turmoil the used vehicle industry has been through over the past 12 months, I'd urge every dealer attending the NADA conference to jump on the opportunity to hear what Amanda has to say," he continued.
