The NAAA Warren Young, Sr. Scholastic Foundation announced it will open its scholarship application for the 2024-2025 academic year Feb. 20.

The application, which can be found here, will remain open until March 28.

The foundation said a total of $140,000 in scholarships is available for 2024-25, with 12 $10,000 scholarships — four of which are based on financial need — and four $5,000 scholarships for study at vocational/trade schools.

The scholarship program has been restructured to boost the scholarship amounts, as the NAAA Foundation board of directors approved increases totaling $76,000 for the coming academic year.

“It’s no secret that college affordability is a challenge for many families,” foundation board president Mike Browning said in a news release, “and our hope is that this dramatic increase in scholarship amounts will make a positive difference for students pursuing their educational goals.”

The scholarship eligibility requirements remain the same. Full-time U.S. or Canadian employees of North American NAAA member auctions or their corporate owners, and their children, stepchildren and grandchildren are eligible to apply.

The foundation said it is again partnering with Scholarship America to administer the program.
