McLEAN, Va. -

In an effort to help its on-the-go customers with decisions while at the auction, NADA Used Car Guide revealed Thursday that subscribers to its NADA Online used-vehicle valuation tool can now enjoy having this service specifically tailored to their smartphones.

NADA Used Car Guide said it has optimized the NADA Online for use on smartphones like the iPhone, iPad, Android and Palm Pre/Pixie. This is free for subscribers.

Officials explained that NADA Online subscribers had been able to use the product on the smartphones before, but now NADA Online service has been adjusted specifically to accommodate smartphones’ screens and functionality.

In addition to be able utilize NADA Online Mobile to tap into NADA’s used-vehicle values — which range from auction (low, average, high) and trade-in (rough, average, clean) to clean loan and clean retail — users can also tap into AutoCheck vehicle history reports via the service.

What’s more, customers can use NADA Online Mobile to book a vehicle out by its VIN or make/model. Also, they can utilize it to figure out options regarding accessories and mileage.

Historical valuations and commercial truck values can also be viewed.

“This new feature gives dealers and auction-goers quick, easy and clear mobile access to all the key information they need to make well-informed buying and selling decisions on the go,” shared NADA Used Car Guide vice president and chief operating officer Mike Stanton.

“In any market environment, it would be important to have the kind of reliable information and competitive edge that NADA Online gives you; but in today’s struggling economy, it could be a matter of survival,” he continued.

To utilize the mobile version of the product, users can visit http://mobile.nada.com/MobileWeb and punch in their usual credentials to log into their respective NADA Online accounts.
