NADAguides.com revealed Monday that it has appointed a director of business development. Named to the post is Skip Esch. His role will have him heading up all business development areas.

His duties include leading overall business development strategy, existing client management and finding new market segments for the company to enter.

Esch’s experience includes auto advertising and business development, officials noted. He also worked for 23 years in print, Internet, cable TV and market data.

Esch joins NADAguides.com after 10 years working for EW Scripps, Tribune and Knight-Ridder in auto sales management capacities. His experience also includes time with the Philadelphia Inquirer, where was an auto sales manager.

Additionally, Esch worked for AOL as its local automotive sales strategy and dealer products director.

Moreover, his experience includes time with Autobytel directing their product marketing and strategy.

Also, he helped craft business development strategies for R.L. Polk & Co. and Acxiom to use for new data and Internet products and initiatives.

“A dynamic professional who will help direct NADAguides’ continued growth, Mr. Esch brings the experience and knowledge in the areas most important for our future success,” stated Len Sims, the company’s vice president of operations.
