Nominations for Women in Remarketing Now Open
CARY, N.C. — In addition to reporting the news, Auto Remarketing strives to recognize excellence in the industry. As such, we are dedicating our April 1 edition to honoring women's contributions to the remarketing industry. Nominations are now open for this special edition.
To be considered for our special feature, a woman must have a history of going above and beyond the call of duty whether through innovation, mentoring new professionals, philanthropy, education or more.
"We're looking to recognize those women in our industry that really make a difference," said Bill Zadeits, associate publisher. "Women considered for this honor can come from all areas of the used-car industry; however, they must all be alike in one area — their dedication to excellence."
To be considered, the nominator must e-mail Jennifer Reed, auto group editor, at firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday, March 19 and include:
—Your name and industry position as well as the name of the person you are nominating for our Women in Remarketing feature. You must also provide an explanation that may be quoted in our article that will explain why you are nominating the woman for this special recognition. Please be as detailed as possible, i.e., what do you know about her accomplishments, positions, time spent in the industry?
—We also need contact information for yourself and the female you are nominating. Who does she work for? What makes her stand out from others in the industry??
—High-resolution photos of the woman you are nominating are a must. Submissions without photos will not be considered unless we can get these for our special layout.
—The hard deadline for submissions is March 19.
—Please understand that due to space constraints we will not be able to feature all the women nominated. However, this has become an ongoing annual series and we will more than likely run another special edition next year.
The Women in Remarketing feature will run in our April 1 Auto Remarketing edition.
Any questions, please e-mail Reed at email@example.com.
