Ottawa-Based Ackroo Hires Longtime Reynolds & ADP Dealer Services Exec for Dealer Development

Canadian web-based loyalty and rewards technology provider Ackroo has announced the appointment of a new dealer development manager, tasked with growing market share of its DealerCard revenue retention tool in Southern Ontario.
Ackroo has tapped former Reynolds & Reynolds executive Wayne Doucette for the position. Doucette’s career in the automotive industry spans over 35 years, with 31 of those years at Reynolds. In his role as account manager there, he was responsible for new business acquisition and managing the company’s key relationships.
During his tenure at Reynolds, Doucette earned more than 20 sales excellence awards.
He comes over to Ackroo from his his recent post as territory sales executive at ADP Dealer Services, where he managed several of the company’s key accounts in the Toronto area.
Explaining more about Ackroo, officials noted that the company offers web-based solutions to help small- to medium-sized businesses increase their profitability and build long-term customer relationships through customized loyalty and rewards programs. DealerCard is specifically designed for auto dealerships, the company said, to help increase profit margins, boost customer retention and create new revenue streams.
