Next up on our series of Auto Remarketing Podcast episodes from NADA Show 2024 earlier this month in Las Vegas is a conversation with OPENLANE CEO Peter Kelly, who joins Cherokee Media Group’s Joe Overby for a wide-ranging conversation.

OPENLANE is coming off a year in which its operating revenues climbed from $1.52 billion to $1.65 billion, as reported last week. Overall gross profits for the year were at $777.5 million, up from $685.1 million in 2022. Adjusted EBITDA jumped from $231.2 million to $272 million.

“Our business made significant progress in 2023, and we are very pleased to deliver results that exceeded our guidance for the year,” Kelly said in a news release.

“We are beginning to see the positive impacts of our strategic investments in innovation and technology, our brand simplification work, as well as our continued diligence around costs,” Kelly said. “Our solid execution in the fourth quarter and throughout 2023 delivered volume growth, revenue growth and margin expansion, results that I believe position OPENLANE for future growth and success.”
