THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. -

Online service AskPatty.com Inc. has named a veteran of the automotive industry as president of its sales and marketing.

The company, which offers automotive advice and helps connects women with its Certified Female Friendly auto retailers, has announced Cherie Watters has been chosen for the role.

With a degree in finance, Watters began her automotive career in 1983, in accounting, and later served as a controller for a large dealer group for a number of years.

In her new role at AskPatty.com, Watters will lead the company’s efforts to build female-friendly services at car dealers, service centers, tire dealers, quick lubes, car washes, collision centers and credit unions, the company said.
