Once again, CARFAX has selected the dealers on its platform deemed best by their customers.

This time, though, they’ve added an extra twist, highlighting dealers who have remained on top.

The sixth annual CARFAX Top-Rated Dealers Awards were chosen this past weekend in conjunction with the NADA Show in New Orleans, recognizing dealerships earning the best ratings through consumer reviews and ratings in 2024.

The company said the stores on this year’s list had an average rating of 4.6 out of 5 stars based on verified consumer reviews.

In honor of the program’s sixth year, CARFAX has added the 5X Top-Rated Dealer Award, a new award to honor dealerships that have earned the Top-Rated Dealer distinction for the past five consecutive years.

The company noted about 20% of the 2024 winners have been Top-Rated Dealers in very one of the six years the award has been presented.

“We applaud the dealers who have exceeded expectations and have established a strong foundation of trust and transparency with their customers,” CARFAX chief revenue officer Gregg Cleary said in a news release. “With around 7.8 million verified ratings and reviews, our CARFAX Top-Rated distinction is awarded based on customer feedback. We strive to support consumers in their big purchase and want to provide continued help in their servicing needs, connecting them to the nation’s most trusted and highly regarded dealers.”

CARFAX said it is notifying the Top-Rated Dealers throughout the nation this week are being notified of their achievement. They’ll receive a kit of materials to display in their showrooms and access to custom CARFAX Top-Rated Dealer digital assets to use on social media and other online outlets, as well as the coveted Golden Car Fox.
