ATLANTA -

An Atlanta automotive group is opening its doors to offer more than new cars this month — visitors to the lot could also find stardom via onsite casting calls for two of television’s hottest shows.

The CBS Buzz Tour will make a stop in Atlanta on Aug. 29 from 3 p.m.  to 9 p.m., in an event sponsored by the Jim Ellis family of dealerships, including Jim Ellis Buick GMC Atlanta, Jim Ellis Buick GMC Buford and Jim Ellis Chevrolet.

Set at the Brandsmart, located at 5000 Motors Industrial Boulevard in Atlanta, the CBS Buzz Tour will offer attendees the opportunity to take part in an exclusive casting call for upcoming seasons of both "The Amazing Race" and "Survivor" television shows, company representatives said.

“Casting calls for any television show always create a large drawing of people. With this being a casting call for two of television’s biggest CBS TV shows, we expect the crowd to be huge, which is why Jim Ellis will have an array of the hottest Chevrolet, Buick and GMC vehicles on display at the event,” said Mark Frost, vice president of operations for Jim Ellis Brands.

Attendees can also meet former CBS cast members Burton Roberts from "Survivor" and Alex Boylan from "The Amazing Race," along with other CBS personalities live and via video chat.

The event will feature prizes, giveaways and merchandise from CBS, and the chance to catch sneak peeks of shows from the upcoming CBS fall season.

Fans can also take part in social challenges via photo submissions, enjoy trivia contests and refreshments.
