Edmunds spotlights dealers with best customer satisfaction scores

Turns out, the Grammys aren’t the only awards happening in Los Angeles this week.
Santa Monica, Calif.-based Edmunds is recognizing some rock stars in retail automotive.
On Monday, the online car-shopping resource announced the winners of the 2026 Edmunds Five Star Dealer Awards, which recognize 79 dealers across the U.S. for their outstanding customer satisfaction rankings.
What’s more, 11 of those stores have been dubbed Edmunds Five Star Premier Dealers.
“Throughout 2025, car shoppers continued to approach the market with greater care, navigating higher costs and tighter budgets while expecting clarity, transparency, and respect at every step of the process,” Edmunds president Seth Berkowitz said in a news release.
“In this environment, trust matters more than ever. Edmunds’ Five Star Dealer Awards recognize dealerships that consistently rise to that challenge by delivering exceptional service and creating positive, confidence-building experiences for their customers,” Berkowitz said.

Dealers must be active participants in the Edmunds Dealer Partner program to quality for the Five Star Dealer Award. Additionally, they must have received at least 30 sales reviews on the Edmunds platform last year, with an average review rating of at least 4.5 for 2025.
Meanwhile, Five Start Premier Award winners must meet all the requirements for a Five Star Dealer Award, while generating at least 150 sales reviews on Edmunds in 2025.
