McLEAN, Va. -

NADA Used Car Guide director of dealer services Stu Zalud is out to help store managers through a free webinar this week titled, “Optimizing the Power of Your Data.”

Zalud explained the session is geared to teach dealers and managers how to protect and leverage the data they already have to improve their stores effectiveness and profitability.

The webinar is set for 2 p.m. ET on Thursday.

“Dealers and managers will learn about data agreements, allowing access and solutions that are written to protect them,” Zalud said. “See the benefits of sharing with a third-party who in return provides an analytic tool that uses the dealership’s own data to benchmark their variable departments and the competition.”

Some of the specific points Zalud plans to share include:

—Learn how to protect the dealership’s data.

—Learn how to understand who is using the data, how it is being used, and for what reasons.

—Learn how accurate data can help improve vehicle valuations.

—Learn to use the dealership’s data to better manage the variable operations.

Zalud’s previous experience includes more than 30 years as an Oldsmobile and Pontiac dealer in Cleveland and eight years as a Cadillac dealer in Hilton Head, S.C. In addition, he served on the NADA board of directors, NADA Used Car Guide board of advisors and as chairperson of both the Greater Cleveland and Ohio Automobile Dealers Associations.
