Holman Automotive, ARI Raise 29K For Charity Over Fall Season

Holman Automotive and fleet services provider ARI raised almost 30,000 this fall through a variety of charitable efforts.
Officials explained the two partnered to raise $29,000 through October, November and December of last year.
These initiatives included a variety of charity walks, participation in the global “Movember” movement and donations to the Food Bank of South Jersey.
“Each of these organizations directly impacts the community in which we live and work. Our employees and their families feel a strong bond to each of these remarkable causes and both the Holman Automotive Group and ARI are proud to foster and support this connection to our community,” said president and chief executive officer Mindy Holman.
“We are honored to support these tremendous charitable initiatives and look forward to continuing to do so for many years to come.”
Together, Holman and ARI participated in the following charity walks:
- The Southern NJ Fall Heart Walk
- Making Strides Against Breast Cancer
- JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes
- Walk to End Alzheimer’s
Throughout the fall season Holman and ARI encouraged employees to support these causes and offered custom-designed t-shirts for a $15 donation as well as the opportunity to purchase dress down days for a $10 donation with all funds raised being divided among the charities.
Together, more than 140 people participated in the five walks and, combined with the additional donations collected, raised nearly $14,000 for the four organizations, the companies shared.
On top of the walks, more than 100 men across ARI’s global offices supports the global men’s-health initiative, “Movember.”
The 100 participants raised more than $9,000.
Lastly, ARI and Holman also donated more than $6,000 to the Food Bank of South Jersey during the month of December. This included a $4,000 monetary donation and more than 1,600 pounds of turkeys valued at approximately $2,000.
The Holman Automotive group, including ARI, also conducted a food drive across all its location to benefit the Food Bank, collecting nearly 5,800 pounds of food.
Also as part of Holman’s food drive efforts, locations throughout Florida also collected more than 1,000 pounds of food which was donated to Feeding South Florida.
