IRVINE, Calif. -

Structured as a way to enhance a certified pre-owned, used or new vehicle purchase, Mazda North American Operations this week launched what it’s calling Mazda Total Advantage.

OEM officials explained MTA is a new prepaid scheduled maintenance program, which is the first of its kind offered by Mazda.

Mazda indicated MTA is available in increments of one to five years on both Schedule I and Schedule II maintenance plans.

Available to all new, used and certified pre-owned Mazda customers of 2007 model-year vehicles and newer, Mazda believes the program can ensure customers are receiving the best care for their units with a full-circle service inspection at each maintenance visit.

In addition, the automaker said customers can finance the new MTA program into their vehicle purchase through Mazda Capital Services.

The OEM emphasized the program was developed with the customer in mind.

Mazda insisted this prepaid service program can benefit customers and add value to their vehicle purchase by lowering scheduled maintenance costs.

“By offering a savings over purchasing maintenance services individually, the factory-certified maintenance raises the bar over available aftermarket maintenance programs,” Mazda officials stressed.
