INLAND EMPIRE, Calif. -

Moss Bros. Auto Group is continuing its annual ’Tis the Season for Giving campaign that began with a food drive benefiting Second Harvest and now is in the midst of a toy collection.

Group officials highlighted approximately 2,000 pounds of donated food went to hungry California families in Riverside and San Bernardino counties.

The second part of the campaign is now kicking into gear as all eight Moss dealerships serve as drop-off points for the Toys for Tots drive.

Employees, vendors and customers are invited to bring new, unwrapped toys to any Moss Bros. Auto Group dealership in Riverside, San Bernardino or Moreno Valley through Friday. Donations are welcome at any time the dealerships are open.

“Even with an improving economy, there are too many kids not able to experience a few simple joys of the holiday season,” Moss Bros. Auto Group president and chief executive officer Glenn Moss Sr. said. “I’m hoping the generosity of our employees and the larger community can help solve that problem.”

Moss added last year’s toy drive also in partnership with Toys for Tots collected more than 1,000 toys for children in the local area. He said group dealerships are looking to “resoundingly crush that level.”

The ’Tis the Season for Giving campaign is also being promoted on all of the dealership Facebook pages where phone numbers and other contact information are available.
